DHU
Dr. Willmar Schwabe (1839-1917), einer der Pioniere der Homöopathie, entwickelte bereits 1866 mit der Gründung seines Unternehmens „Homöopathische Centralofficin Dr. Willmar Schwabe“ in Leipzig analytische Methoden, die die bis dahin sehr schwankende Qualität homöopathischer Arzneimittel enorm verbesserte. Mit dem 1872 geschaffenen Standardwerk "Pharmacopoea Homoeopathica Polyglottica" dokumentierte er akribisch alle Arbeitsanleitungen zur Herstellung homöopathischer Mittel. Damit war das erste Mal eine industrielle Produktion möglich.
1946 verlegte die Firma Schwabe ihren Sitz von Leipzig nach Karlsruhe. Von dort werden heute die Traditionen des Hauses - in der vierten Familien-Generation mit der Deutschen Homöopathie-Union DHU fortgeführt.
